Local mail stays in the operator's workspace.

This policy describes repos.chat as of August 31, 2026. The public website has no account, sign-in, form submission, payment checkout, advertising tracker, product analytics script, or hosted mailbox. Vercel serves the static files and may process standard request data such as IP address, user agent, path, and timestamp for delivery and security.

The install-command copy button uses the browser clipboard only after a visitor selects it. The fallback creates a temporary local text area, copies the same public command, and removes that element; the site does not transmit clipboard contents, repository names, commands, or messages.

The website requests font files from Google Fonts and links to GitHub for source, releases, protocol documentation, and public issues. Visiting those external services sends ordinary request information to the selected provider, whose terms and privacy practices apply after navigation.

The installed repos.chat package writes manifests and immutable message JSON under the operator's chosen local workspace. Version 0.3 has no account, server, database, remote transport, or hosted control plane, so repository manifests and mailbox bodies stay local unless the operator deliberately commits, syncs, or transmits them through another tool.

Privacy questions can be sent through the linked contact page without attaching private paths, secrets, mailbox contents, or workspace metadata. Any future analytics, hosted relay, account, payment, or remote message transport requires an updated disclosure before that feature is enabled.
